Special Classes
LIBRARY

Every student in the building has an opportunity to go to class in the Library with our School Librarian. The Library provides a collection of books, reference materials, electronic databases, software, and internet access for student research. The Librarian works with classroom teachers to create instructional plans for students. Students in grades PK-2 visit the library for story time every other week; grades 3-6 attend sessions to acquire basic library and research skills; and, grades 7-8 attend class for one trimester each academic year. During eighth grade, students apply their skills to an independent or small group research project.
