Ways to Support MSW

The MSW Fund Campaign

As parents, we have made the investment of ‘planting’ our children at Mary, Seat of Wisdom school for a reason. We know that faith, education and community create the strong foundation necessary for optimal learning and growth to take place. Much like a seed requires the right conditions to help it grow, each of our children need a variety of different supports throughout their academic journey to help ensure their best success. The MSW Fund: Seeds for Success Campaign provides critical funds to our school, ensuring we have the ideal conditions needed for our students to blossom into their fullest potential.

Gifts to The MSW Fund are essential in helping support the school’s ability to nurture your child’s academic, spiritual, emotional and social growth.

The Angel Event is the Parish's major fundraising event. The event brings together more than 350 parishioners, school and Religious Education parents, teachers and friends in an effort to raise more than $100,000. The income generated from this special event is shared equally between the parish and the school. There are many levels of support for the Angel Event and every bit helps.

Prior to the actual event, MSW parents and parishioners work tirelessly to prepare and produce the evening.

Attendance and participation at the Angel Event are the best ways to ensure its success and build a stronger parish and school community.

Sunday collections are the financial cornerstone of MSW Parish. Weekly contributions are a tangible expression of gratitude for God's role in our lives and the part the Church has played in deepening our spirituality. At the same time, your commitment enables the parish to support its many ministries, including MSW School via the parish subsidy. To receive the discounted parishioner school tuition rate, school families are expected to make a Sunday Giving Commitment.

How Does MSW Pay for Each Child's Education?

Each year, MSW requires additional funds outside of tuition to support the unique MSW experience for all students. Tuition is set as low as possible to remain competitive and to make this faith-based education accessible to as many children as possible. This means that each year there is a gap between the cost of tuition and the cost of each child's education. While tuition and fees are the largest source of revenue, MSW requires the charitable support of its parents, parishioners, grandparents, alumni and friends for annual operating needs.
