Employment Opportunities
Substitute Teachers

MSW School is expanding the pool of those available to serve as substitute teachers. WE NEED YOU! Do you miss your time in the classroom? Would you like an opportunity to work with little ones? Middle Schoolers? Do you have expertise to share in Math? Science? Reading?

If you are interested in being a substitute teacher, please contact Assistant Principal Chris Ferraro at or at the school office 847-825-2500 x231. You can also fax your resume to 847-825-1943. After receipt of resume, Mr. Ferraro will call to set up a short 30 minute interview.

Requirements for service include a 4-year college degree and the Archdiocesan hiring process which includes a background check, fingerprinting, and VIRTUS training.

Volunteer Opportunities

Family School Association is calling ALL parents and grandparents to lend some extra hands! Do you have a few free hours in the month that you could spare to help out our MSW office staff? You do not need any experience, just a friendly attitude and willingness to help! The office is in need of volunteers to help with things like delivering items to classrooms, filing, making copies, etc. Shifts are extremely flexible and consist of either a morning time slot (8:30-11:30 AM) or an afternoon time slot (12:30-3:00 PM) and you can commit to whatever day works best for you – no long-term commitments needed! And…you may even catch a glimpse of that favorite student(s) of yours while lending your much appreciated extra hands to the office. Please contact FSA President, Caitlin Beaver at if you are interested.
