This year our Catholic Identity Theme is “Fiat: Let It Be Done.” Jesus’ mother, Mary is deserving of our prayer, devotion, and adoration. Among Mary’s finest qualities are her acceptance and embracement of God’s will. Mary said “yes” to God and lived out His will. She acts as our intercessor to her Son, Jesus. She is a path through which we can find, witness, and worship Jesus. She is not only the Mother of our Church, but she is also the most perfect disciple. Each month we will spend time learning about a different aspect of Mary through Marian titles, Apparitions of Mary, service opportunities, reflections, and journaling. A very important aspect of our Catholic identity focus is prayer. The students will be learning three different prayers this year, one for each trimester. In addition, they will also learn our All School Prayer, The Fiat Prayer. We want to share these prayers with you in the hopes that you can incorporate them into your prayers at home with your children, in the morning, at dinnertime, or in the evening. May we all grow closer to Jesus this year, through the intercession of Mary, our Blessed Mother, and the Seat of Wisdom.

ALL SCHOOL PRAYER
THE FIAT (YES) PRAYER
Holy Mary,
Obtain for me the help that I need, to do my very best
using all the powers within me and all the talents and skills I possess,
according to my possibilities, to fulfill God's plan in every circumstance of my life.
Amen.
1ST TRIMESTER PRAYER
MEMORARE
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen
2ND TRIMESTER PRAYER
HAIL, HOLY QUEEN
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb,
Jesus, O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
Pray for us, o holy mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Amen.
3RD TRIMESTER PRAYER
THE ANGELUS
The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary:
And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Behold the handmaid of the Lord:
Be it done unto me according to Thy word.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
And the Word was made Flesh:
And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord.
Amen.
